3 year old
Bella is a 3 1/2 year old sable black and tan short coat female German Shepherd who is not spayed, is microchipped and vaccinations are out of date.
She has never lived with children but is good around children. She is wary of other dogs and is unsure how to play, out on a walk she will pull towards other dogs and bark at them but if they get too close she will head butt them. As it is unknown how she would be with cats she cannot be rehomed with them.
When people come to the door she will bark but once they are in she will be quiet but will get anxious if people get too close. She loves travelling in the back seat of the car.
Bella has a sensitive tummy and this is controlled by a special diet. She does have a lump at her tail and owner has been advised that she needs her anal glands emptied.
She is ok being touched and handled but she is not keen on her paws being touched. She is housetrained and knows her basic commands.
Out on a walk she will pull towards other dogs barking at them. She does have good recall.
Bella didn't have the best start in life at her young age, she has already had 2 litters of pups but luckily her current owner rescued her from a bad situation. Unfortunately her current owner who has given her the best life isn't in good health resulting in Bella looking for a new home.
She is a lovely girl who needs a nice loving home who can give her an active life with nice walks and lots of love. Bella is looking for an experienced owner, although she is good with children she has never lived with them.
Currently in Foster care in Durham.
