Sasha is a 4 year old female, black and tan short coat German Shepherd who is spayed, microchipped and her next vaccination is due
She lives in a busy household with children of all ages and different people coming and going and seems happy with that.
Sasha currently lives with 4 other dogs and is great with them but she is nervous meeting other dogs outside the home. She is fine
after careful introduction to a new dog. Unknown how Sasha would be with cats so cannot be rehomed to a home with cats.
when assessor knocked the door and when they went in she was behind a baby gate and when let in to meet assessor she jumped up at
first but settled within a couple minutes. She was quite happy with assessor being in the home.
Ok to be left on her own for up to
4 hours and she doesn't chew. Sasha is good travelling in the boot of the car.
She does have a very loud bark and will bark at noises
and people with hoods where she can't see their face. In the garden she will patrol the boundary fence and bark if she hears anything.
Sasha is ok being touched but does not like being cuddled. She is housetrained and knows her basic commands.
Out on a walk she walks
nicely on a Gencon head collar and is ok with no other dogs around and her recall is ok about 80% of the time.
Sasha is looking for
an experienced owner who would be confident enough to help her work on meeting other dogs, she will be lead reactive and may bark
loudly in the home.
Sasha is willing to learn, loves her treats and is very true of her breed. She will soon become the new lucky
owner's best friend.
Sasha is currently in Burton on Trent, Derbyshire.
