Leo is a 3 year old male sable semi coat German Shepherd who is microchipped and vaccinations are due June 2019. Leo has a retained
testicle and despite 2 invasive operations vets have been unable to locate the testicle.
He absolutely loves kids but he does get
over excited so would be better around older children. He is a bit selective with the dogs he likes, with females he is ok but with
intact male dogs or male German Shepherds he has growled at these dogs and has pinned them down until owner pulls him away. He has
never lived with a cat but has never shown any aggression to the neighbours cat.
When people come to the house he will bark at first
with his tail wagging and there has never been any issues. He is fine travelling in the boot of the car or with a harness in the back
seat, he can be talkative as he whines with excitement. At the vets he gets excited but the vets can do what they need to do with
Out on a walk he is good with owner but not so good with other people. Owner has not been able to walk Leo much due to health
issues. He does have good recall when no other dogs are around but owners uses a 10m line so he can run around. If he wants to meet
another dog he will not listen.
Left on his own he is fine in the house but does occasionally sleeps on the sofa which he is not allowed
Leo has never bitten or shown any aggression and has no food aggression problems.
Apart from the retained testicle Leo has
no other medical issues.
Owner says that he is really trainable and loves to learn. He can open and close doors. Leo does have a preference
Leo is currently in Cardiff.
