Jessie is an 8 year old female: she has not been spayed: vaccinations are up to date and she is microchipped.
Jessie is friendly with
people. She has lived with young children. As she can be excitable and jump up she would be better with older children if any. She
is fine being touched and handled. A bit fidgety when being towelled down after a walk or when being groomed, but does not react to
Jessie has not been socialised with other dogs and is reactive when meeting on walks. However, she can walk with other
dogs as long as she is introduced gradually. She will need to be the only pet in a home.
Excited when going out and initially strong
on the lead. When handled firmly she is showing signs of calming down more quickly and can walk well when into the walk. Jessie does
have recall but is only allowed off lead in a secure area.
She enjoys a game of fetch, but not always keen to give the ball back.
Responds quite well to basic commands when there are no distractions: she will sit, lie down, give a paw and will do everything better
with the prospect of a treat.
Jessie has been housetrained and is clean in her kennel.
She travels well in a car.
Jessie needs a family
with time, patience and commitment to providing appropriate exercise: she is a fit and active 8 year old. She needs a family who can
earn her trust and respect and give her the confidence to enjoy being a dog. An experience owner will help this lady flourish.
