Our dogs rely entirely on donations, your donations help UK German Shepherd Rescue continue its work in helping the abused, neglected and unwanted German shepherd dogs & puppies in the United Kingdom.
We'll come straight to the point: You can eliminate one or more animal's pain and suffering by a simple and modest donation.
Remember we have no paid staff, not even the boss gets paid or me! Expenses are hardly ever calmed, which are fuel cost only.
Your personal contribution will help us to help even more dogs.

Ash is a really sweet lady and unfortunately we donít have much history on her as she was found as a stray. Ash would like a secure
garden in her new home where she can potter about and laze about in the sun! Ash is a really sweet affectionate girl who just loves
to be by you. She has proven to have a good recall on site as she will always come back for food! We feel she could happily be let
off lead in the future but her new family will need to practise her recall in a secure location before allowing her off lead in public.
Itís important that her new family donít push her into any situations she doesnít want to be in and take things at her pace. Due to
this Ash is looking for a quiet home with few visitors during the settling in period. However, her people would benefit from having
a treat pot by the door if visitors come round to help her make friends easier. We feel Ash could happily live with teenagers who
respect her boundaries and also appreciate she can be a bit worried. Ash is a very playful lady who likes a good game of fetch or
tuggy. She enjoys her soft toys and likes to hold them in her mouth to show you them. Ash is very foody! She will do anything for
food! If it is left out she will steal it so itís best that food is kept out of her reach otherwise it wonít be there for long. She
has been good for her overall handling and is good at the vets with a bit of food to distract.
Ash has a high chase drive so itís
best that she does not live with cats or small animals.
Ash is a really lovely lady. She is very clever and will do anything for food.
We have taught her sit, lay down and paw and she would like to know many more. Ash gulps her food down so she would need to be fed
from an enrichment feeder to help slow her down. She can also be nervous of loud noises so she will need some preparations around
the time of fireworks like the TV up loud, lots of reassurance and a safe place to go to. Ash canít wait to find her forever home.
