I'm a 5 year old,female German Shepherd
This beautiful girl is 5 year old Zana, who was rehomed by us as a puppy but has come back into rescue after her owner could no longer
Zana is microchipped, vaccinated but not spayed.
She is not good with cats.
Zana hasnt had much socialisation with other
dogs, so does come across as aggressive barking and lunging at them on walks, However, kennels have been working on this, and she
is instigating play with other friendly dogs, albeit muzzled until we know she will be ok. But all the signs are good and we are confident
with a few positive experiences with other dogs, this issue can be resolved.
Zana is fine with older children.
She is housetrained,
travels well and is ok to be left.
Zana is very strong on the lead, so does need work on this or a decent head collar . Her recall
is very good. She will sell her soul for treats and is carrying a few excess pounds!
Zana has never had the life we wanted for her-
she has not been trained, exercised sufficiently, fed a decent diet, or socialised. She has missed 5 years of what we had hoped would
be the best life possible.
NOW is when her life begins.
