I'm a 6 years old, female German Shepherd
Shadow is a lovely 6 year old girl who needs a new home as her owner no longer has the time she needs.
Shadow is not yet spayed, her
vaccinations are out of date, but she is microchipped.
Not known how she is with cats.
Shadow does live with a small dog without any
problems, but does bark at other dogs on walks. She would benefit structured training and socialising with other dogs.
Shadow is ok
left for short periods, is housetrained and travels well in the car.
Shadow sleeps downstairs.
She is nervous of strangers/ visitors
and will bark at them and back off. She soon settles and can be won over with treats.
Shadow is more wary of men, so does need careful
introduction, and to come to you in her own time.
She does tail chase/ spin- likely through boredom, ,frustration.
With time spent
training and building her confidence this girl will soon blossom.
Currently in Scunthorpe.
