I'm a 4 year old,female German Shepherd.
Sasha is a 4 year old girl, who was rehomed by us to a family a year ago, but sadly their working hours have changed meaning they
can no longer give Sasha the time she needs.
Sasha is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
Not known how she is with cats.
her nervous issues we will not rehome her with children.
Sasha lives with another dog without issues, but her nervous behaviour and
barking is upsetting the other dog, and raising their stress levels.
When left Sasha will bark at all noises outside, and also when
in the garden.
When visitors arrive, Sasha will bark at them, but does relax a little if they are seated. However, her stress levels
rise if they move, and she will bark again.
On walks she does the same nervous/ fearful bark at other dogs and humans. If off lead
she will run up to people or dogs barking, so new owner needs to be aware and work on this issue immediately.
Sasha is fine once she
knows you, and is a really affectionate girl.
She sleeps downstairs, is mostly housetrained, and has no other problematic behaviour
other than the fear of new things.
With a confident, experienced owner who will invest a lot of time and patience in Sasha, she will
overcome her issues.
We have specialist help here at the rescue happy to guide any new owner through all of Sasha's behaviour.
