This lovely boy is 4 year old Max who needs a new home as his Dad has passed away, and his mum cannot walk him.

Max is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

Not known how he is with cats.

Max cannot be rehomed with children.

Max is good with other dogs, he just wants to play with them.

When visitors arrive Max is put behind a baby gate and allowed in once the visitor has sat down. He then sniffs all over and does tend to jump on them.

Max travels well in the car, and is housetrained, although if left he is upset and will urinate .

Max does tend to chew bedding if left alone also.

Max is rarely walked since his owner died, and has alot of pent up energy to burn off. He has no idea how to

walk on a lead, so needs training in this area. He has not been tested off lead.

He is quite an aloof dog, who listens when he wants to!

He does have food aggression issues, so new owners must be aware. He is not keen on having his front legs touched either.

Max is suffering from an ongoing ear problem, which is currently being treated with steroids. He dislikes the vets immensely and has to be sedated, so the vet has not examined it deep inside. This really needs addressing and a change of diet is highly recommended to help with this.

Max has the potential to be a wonderful companion, he just needs some rough edges polishing up!
