I'm a 22 month old, female German Shepherd.
This beauty is 22 month old Izzy , who needs a new home as her owners can no longer give her what she needs.
Izzy is not yet spayed,
but is vaccinated and microchipped.
Izzy is cautious of children, so older children only please.
Not known how she is with cats.
has not been allowed to mix with other dogs a great deal, so is nervous of them and will run away. She would benefit greatly from
being around other calm, friendly dogs to teach her how to interact.
Izzy is a nervous barker, and will bark at visitors or strangers.
If ignored , in time she comes around and can be very affectionate once she trusts you. She has bonded with the male owner, but tends
to ignore the female .
Izzy does not know what is expected of her and has adopted her own strategy of avoiding situations that make
her feel insecure. She is under stimulated and lacks direction, all of which are enhancing her nervous behaviour.
In the right environment
with a confident owner, she will soon blossom.
Izzy sleeps in the kitchen, doesnt chew when left, and travels well in the car.
patience & direction are all this little lady needs.
