We are appealling for a special foster or forever home for 4 year old Heidi-bugs. We are looking for somebody worthy of her beauty & her love who will commit to working with her issues & not give up on her.

Heidi is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Heidi is not good with cats.

Heidi gets very excited when visitors arrive and does mouth still, so older children only.

When people come to see her, she gets so excited she jumps up, but she soon calms down and is happy to play forever! She will sell her soul for a toy or a treat! She knows many commands and will happily give up toys to play.

Heidi had not had many positive experiences around other dogs when she came here. She would bark & pull towards them, shouting at them. She will now walk past other dogs on the lead, as long as they arent too close.

She needs constant reassurance that she is a good girl, and somebody to be confident enough in her to keep up with training. Heidi has met alot of other dogs here- and if she gets too close she occasionally nips them- this is all fear & not knowing how to behave around other dogs. She has mixed with a pack of dogs- wearing a muzzle- and was calm & reacted well.

Heidi is desperate to get out of kennels - but needs somebody who will not just talk the talk, but will walk the walk with her. She has the potential & the temperament to work through this issue- but needs an owner who will take that journey with her & not let her down.

Heidi is housetrained, travels well in the car- although very excited so very vocal! She walks well on the lead, and her recall is very good.

She is not allowed off lead around other dogs without a muzzle, so new foster/ owner MUST do the same.

Heidi loves water! Paddling pools, hosepipes.. all favourites!

This girl has so much love to give- and has so much fun to have still, but she needs a confident owner.

Currently in kennels near Cardigan, West Wales.
