I'm a 2 year old,female German Shepherd.
This pretty little lady is 2 year old Coco, who needs a new home due to a relationship breakdown. We did rehome Coco, but her nervousness
& protective nature means she needs a new home.
Coco is not spayed, she had vaccinations as a puppy, and she is microchipped.
Coco has lived with 2 cats. She chases one, and ignores the other- mainly because it has taken a swipe at her!!
Coco is ok with older
teenage children, will happily play with them.
Coco did live with an older Golden Retriever bitch, and they got along well, she plays
with her, and accepts any tellings off from her if she steps out of line. However the spaniel she was rehomed with is scared of her,
and Coco plays on this.
On walks however she is very nervous of other dogs, and wont interact with them. She will give a short bark
if they get very close, but will hide behind owner if they do. She would benefit from living with another confident dog.
Coco is nervous
of visitors, and will run and hide - usually under the table. She will bark if they get too close to her 'safe place'. If pushed when
she is in her hiding hole, she will nip, but she would have to feel threatened. ]
She will eventually settle and accept treats, but
any sudden movements send her back under the table. She is scared of hoovers, and pushchairs.
Coco is good on the lead, and her recall
is spot on. She never ventures far from her owner.
She hasnt been in a car much, but was ok apart from trying to get into the front.
Coco is housetrained, but will have accidents if left too long hours.
This beautiful girl urgently needs a confident owner who will
help her to become less nervous. She needs a home preferably without children, and with at least one other dog.
In the right home
she will blossom given time.
