I'm a 4 year old,male German Shepherd.
This handsome boy is 4 year old Buddy who needs a new home as his owner cannot keep him.
Buddy is not neutered, has only had puppy
vaccinations but is thankfully microchipped!
Buddy chases cats given the chance.
Buddy is not keen on young children, so we will not
rehome with children under teenage.
On walks Buddy ignores other dogs. He is usually good with them, and mixes well . He lives quite
amicably with an elderly terrier.
Buddy will bark at visitors to the home, and is very territorial over his environment. He spends
alot of time in the garden and is spinning through boredom and frustration.
A smart dog, Buddy picks up on any nerves that a visitors
shows, and reacts accordingly. He was fine with our assessor on the walk, but when they returned to the garden, he lunged & tried
to bite. This behaviour needs addressing, and he is not for the faint hearted!
With people he knows and trusts, Buddy is great, and
outside of the home he meets & greets strangers without issues at all.
He does pull on the lead, but responds to correction. His
recall is good.
Buddy appeared quite relaxed outside of his home environment, but overly protective & dominant when at
in his garden.
With the right, calm , experienced owner to work on Buddy's territorial issues, this boy will blossom.
