Bailey is a 4 year old male German Shepherd x Husky who is neutered and microchipped but vaccinations are out of date. Bailey was
rehomed by us a couple of years ago but sadly needs a new home now.
Bailey lives with young children and also lives with cats. He
is very friendly and greets visitors with a waggy tail and lots of fuss and licks. Left on his own in the house he is good and loves
travelling in the car.
Normally Bailey is good with other dogs and has had a terrier nipping his ankles without any reaction but out
on a walk a pug ran up to him and jumped on his back. As a result of this Bailey reacted and grabbed the pug in his mouth leaving
it with cuts. Due to this incident owner has lost confidence in taking him out and he is therefore not getting the exercise he needs.
When at the vets Bailey will bark and whine in the waiting area but he is fine once he is in the consultation room. Bailey is always
fed the same food otherwise he gets an upset tummy.
Bailey knows all his basic commands. Going out on a walk he will initially pull
on the lead with excitement but calms down. He does have an issue of circling round when there is more than one person walking with
him. His recall is brilliant and he never goes far from your side unless he is chasing his ball.
Bailey is a much loved dog but is
not currently getting the attention and exercise that he needs
